With over a decade of experience, founder Christine first fell into Shakespeare when she saw a production of Hamlet in Germany during her teens. This ignited a passion in Christine, leading her to study at the Blackfriars Theatre at the American Shakespeare Center and to working with the top Shakespeare companies and producers all over the globe.


Christine worked as Text Associate at Shakespeare's Globe, London, under the artistic directorship of Dominic Dromgoole, Emma Rice and Michelle Terry on over 50 productions. There she worked also closely with the Education Department under Patrick Spottiswoode, and co-directors Farah Karim-Cooper and Lucy Cuthbertson.

As an international Shakespeare practitioner, Christine’s outreach includes:

  • Lincoln Center Festival (Washington, D.C.)

  • Deutsche Shakespeare Gesellschaft (Weimar, Germany)

  • Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival (AZ, USA) where she is Director of Vision and Text

Christine has also been the text associate for productions touring in Austria, Beijing, USA, Denmark, Hong Kong, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, and Wales.

With roots in the teachings and styles of Peter Hall and Giles Block, Christine takes Shakespeare’s classic text and contemporizes the learning experience. She has led workshops and taught in the theatre departments of universities, including:

  • Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (Glasgow)

  • Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London)

  • Young Actors Theatre Islington (London)

  • University of Osnabrück (Germany)

  • Rutgers University (NJ, USA).

Christine worked with directors such as Nicole Charles, Emma Rice, Paulette Randall, Matthew Dunster, Blanche McIntyre, Daniel Kramer, Dominic Dromgoole, Jim Warren, Clayton Phillips, and Tina Packer.


She has collaborated with over 500 actors to date on their leading roles including André Holland, Mark Rylance, Jonathan Pryce, Kevin McNally, Eve Best, Joseph Marcell, Tara Fitzgerald, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Maddy Hill and Mercy Ojelade.

With practical and scholarly expertise on verse and prose, Christine has worked on both plays and adaptations of Shakespeare’s works, as well as those of his contemporaries.
